PROBATE
Wooden puzzle with text probate..jpg

Texas law provides for what is commonly called "Independent Administration" in probate matters, as long as the will was drawn up correctly.  In short, it can mean one trip and one trip only to the courthouse, with the rest of the matters being taken care of by your attorney and you, primarily by email and phone.

We can answer such questions as:

  • Does this estate need to be probated?

  • How can I gain access to the deceased's assets or accounts?

  • What do I do if there is no will?

  • Who gets what if someone dies without a will?

  • What do I have to do if I'm named executor in a will?

  • How much time is the probate matter going to take?

We understand that the loss of a loved one carries its own set of burdens and responsibilities.  We will strive to make the probate process as simple and easy to navigate as possible for you.
